Council, Policies & Reports
School Council
School councils play a key role in government schools, acting as a team to support the principal to enhance educational opportunities for students. School councils are made up of elected members including parents, school staff, students and community members and are responsible for the financial management and strategic oversight of the school.
Being part of a School Council is an excellent opportunity for families to contribute back to their school community. The term of office for membership is 2 years, and all members of our community are encouraged to stand for a position in the relevant Council category.
Council elections are held each year in February. You can self-nominate and stand for election, or you can encourage another person to stand for election.
For more information, or to contact School Council, please contact the School Council President, Anand Agarwal, via phone message (03 9864 7700).
Current Council Members
Each year, Council is responsible for preparing and sharing a range of annual and strategic reports with our community, including the Annual Report, Strategic Plan, and Annual Implementation Plan.
